| From a basic understanding.. Having never done this before on this car, and with an engine bay so tight..it was a daunting task. Top side valve covers are the easy ones... exhaust cam covers are the P.I.T.A No gaskets for the exhaust covers, so you will be playing the "RTV Goop game" while trying to not get it all over your cams, as you squeeze it in between your EGR pipes, while simultaneously lining it up with the valve train. LOL.. Good times.. I simply cut my EGR tubes, blocked them off, and will remove the EGR upon engine removal and upgrades to the motor...or motor swap. Since you'll have to pull the plenum anyhow, it'll be a good time to do the throttle body coolant bypass, along with hose inspections...etc. Check out your injectors while you're at it..Check all your connections, clean out the corrosion and repack with di-electric grease. Just a few things that can be done. Might as well degrease and clean the plenum, and throttle bodies.
